Direction: Redefine what mass-custom cabinetry could offer in terms of personalization, quality, and style through a strategic partnership with The Home Depot. The goal was to transform kitchens and baths—spaces where beauty meets everyday functionality—by bringing Martha Stewart's timeless elegance and accessible luxury to the big-box retail space.
Design: Grounded the concept in deep consumer insights and Martha’s core design principles to develop an extensive customizable kitchen and bath cabinetry system. For kitchens, I led the creation of an editorial aesthetic featuring a soft, trend-driven color palette, unique door styles, and smart organizational features like dedicated tea/coffee inserts, spice storage, and pet-focused layouts. For baths, I extended this sensibility into vanities and storage solutions tailored for everything from compact powder rooms to master suites. Every detail—from coordinated hardware to finishes and integrated storage—was carefully curated to ensure material beauty, user experience, and seamless aesthetic continuity across home interiors.
Dividend: Successfully launched over 1,000 SKUs that were widely featured in lifestyle publications and influencer channels. The kitchen and bath lines quickly established themselves as signature, category-defining offerings in The Home Depot’s design portfolio, proving the power of combining smart retail strategy with expert creative direction.
