MARTHA STEWART: ORGANIZATION COLLECTIONS

Creative Direction/Art Direction/Furniture & Product Design/CMF Design/Manufacturing Liaison

Organization has always been a cornerstone of the Martha Stewart brand, and few categories reflect that ethos more clearly than storage and home systems. With a long-standing reputation for transforming everyday routines into thoughtful, beautiful experiences, this project continued that legacy by bringing Martha’s vision of order and elegance into the often-overlooked areas of the home to the Home Decorators collection: closets and garages. Guided by her input and supported by extensive consumer research, the collections were designed to reflect not only functional excellence but also an elevated design sensibility that resonates with how people actually live and work in their homes.

The closet collection introduced a flexible range of modular furniture systems, storage accessories, and color-coordinated components tailored to the needs of modern consumers. From drawer organizers and shelving to freestanding closet units, every detail was developed with real-world dimensions and lifestyle demands in mind. The material and finish palette was curated to complement Martha’s broader home collections, allowing seamless integration into bedrooms, dressing rooms, and multipurpose spaces. A mix of premium textures and soft neutrals helped elevate the utility of closet systems into something truly worthy of editorial and influencer attention.

The garage collection tackled one of the most function-first spaces in the home with an equally thoughtful approach. Designed to bring order to tools, outdoor gear, and utility items, the garage furniture line included heavy-duty cabinets, work surfaces, and modular wall systems, all built to handle the demands of everyday use while maintaining a polished, Martha-approved aesthetic for The Home Depot. Accessories like bins, hooks, and drawer inserts extended the functionality of the core units, making the system both highly customizable and scalable. Each product was developed with a focus on durability, ease of installation, and style—turning even the most utilitarian spaces into well-designed extensions of the home.
